Local Directions
(a) Enter St Andrews on the A91;
(b) Take the second exit (straight on) at the first roundabout;
(c) At the mini-roundabout take the first exit (straight on) and continue to the cathedral ruins;
(d) Follow the road round to your right but do not pass through the arch;
(e) Take the first turn on your left after the arch;
(f) Follow the road (signposted A917) until you are almost out of town, where you will encounter the two mini-roundabouts;
(g) You will see a fork in the road after the roundabouts, aim for the right fork signposted 'The Grange/Lathockar';
(h) Take the first right;
(i) Then first left; and
(j) Your destination will be on your right in 100 yards.

Getting to St.Andrews
There are four major airports in Scotland, offering a range of domestic and international flights. Car hire is available from each of these airports. Edinburgh airport is closest at 48 miles, Aberdeen 84, Glasgow 90 and Glasgow Prestwick is farthest at 113 miles. While there is no railway station in St.Andrews, it is served by Leuchars station which is 5 miles from the town and has connections to all of the major Scottish centres.
From Edinburgh
(a) Leave Edinburgh via the A90 across the Forth Road Bridge. (b) Shortly after the bridge the A90 becomes M90. then (c) Proceed north along M90 to Junction 2a (Dunfermline) onto A92. (d) Follow the A92 (through Glenrothes) until just before Cupar. (e) Join the A91 and follow to St Andrews. or alternatively (c) Take M90 to Junction 8. (d) Follow A91 to St Andrews.
From Glasgow
(a) Leave Glasgow east along the M8. then (b) Carry on at Junction 13 to the Forth Road Bridge (c) Exit via the M9 and A8000 link road to the A90. (d) Follow instructions "From Edinburgh" above. or alternatively (b) Exit at Junction 13 towards on to M80/A80. (c) At Junction 4 A80 becomes M876. (d) Proceed to A876 and Kincardine Bridge. (e) Follow A977 towards Kinross. (f) Join M90 at Junction 6. (g) Exit M90 at Junction 8. (h) Follow A91 to St Andrews.
From Stirling
(a) Leave Stirling on A91. (b) Join M90 at Junction 7. (c) Exit M90 at Junction 8. (d) Follow A91 to St Andrews.
From Perth
(a) Leave Perth via M90 (South). (b) Exit M90 at Junction 9 onto A912. (c) Join A913 through Abernethy and Newburgh to Cupar. (d) Turn left onto A91 and follow to St Andrews.
From Dundee (and Aberdeen)
(a) Leave Dundee across the Tay Road Bridge on the A92 (South). (b) After approximately 1 mile, at roundabout turn left onto A914. (c) A914 becomes A919 at St Michaels. (d) Follow A919 to Leuchars. (e) At Guardbridge join A91 and follow to St Andrews.
